Nelson has long believed that giving back to the community is important. It not only helps out those in need but it also helps keep our company and our employees grounded in what it really means to be part of a community. Nelson not only donates money, but also gives with expertise.
Over the past five years Nelson has worked on 15 Habitat for Humanity homes and one Tree House project.
Nelson has also made monetary contributions to Down Syndrome, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Caring and Sharing Hands, VFW post 246, local food shelves and Longfellow Healthy Seniors on an annual basis.
Nelson believes in reusing and recycling and has donated three cars to Caring and Sharing Hands over the years as well.
